In the first quarter of 2025, the travel and local app category on Android in Egypt saw significant activity. Here's a look at the top five performers based on data from Sensor Tower.

Nusuk | نسك from the Ministry of Hajj and Umra showed impressive download numbers. Weekly downloads peaked at 33.9K in mid-February, with a noticeable increase in active users, growing from 66.7K at the start of the quarter to 110.7K by late February.

Instabridge: WiFi Hotspot Map maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads ranging from 12.9K to 26.1K. Active users were consistently high, reaching over 230K in early February.

Google Earth experienced a steady flow of downloads, with numbers climbing to 16.2K in early February. Its active user base fluctuated but remained robust, peaking at 297K in the first week of January.

Bella Pro saw weekly downloads rise to 16.4K by the end of March, with revenue peaking at $180 in mid-March. Active users also increased, reaching 53.9K by the end of the quarter.

Qatar Airways had a gradual increase in downloads, culminating in 17.7K in late March. Active users more than doubled from 16.8K to 37.6K over the quarter.
